Organic Green Beans with Toasted Hazelnuts & Browned
Butter
~
$22.00 ($22.77 w/ tax)
"Fast & Easy - Serves 8/10" In Northern Italy where I
received my culinary training, there are acres and acres
of beautiful hazelnut groves that I loved to wander
through on long afternoon walks. This dish is my homage
to them. We toast the sweet nuts till their fragrant and
crunchy. Then you add them to a simple browned butter
sauce and toss it with the steamed green beans. A
wonderful accompaniment to your holiday table and while
we love the "green bean casserole" of yore... we can't
help but break from tradition and offer these up to your
family and guests.
|
Fresh Rosemary Scented Cranberry Sauce ~ $12.50 ($12.94
w/ tax)
"Easy - Serves 8/10" Leaved the canned and jellied
cranberry sauce to those who don't know any better! We
know how wonderful fresh cranberry sauce tastes,
especially when paired with a delicious Thanksgiving
turkey. This recipe takes fresh, tart cranberries and
mellows them wth a soft, sweet infusion of fresh
rosemary. It's a wonderful alternatives to basic
cranberry sauce and your answer to "the can".
|
Brown Sugar Bourbon Pecan Pie
~
$18.50 ($19.15 w/ tax)
"For the sweet tooth - Serves 6/8" Nothing says
Thanksgiving like pumpkin pie but we can't resist the
sweet call of Pecan Pie, especially when it's paired
with our favorite small-batch Knob Creek Kentucky
Bourbon! It's a wonderfully easy pie and we provide the
crust, so no rolling necessary! And for those of you who
love the rich taste of dark chocolate.... well,
sometimes we add that too! So if you'd like to try it
that way, just opt to add some dark chocolate chips to
your pie and we'll be sure to include them.
|
Dessert - Crostata di Mele (Apple Tart) ~ $15.50 ($16.04
w/ tax)
"Perfect for guests & No thawing necessary" The crostata
is the epitome of the ease and effortlessness of the
Italian lifestyle. Bake it while eating dinner
and it will be ready for dessert. Either way you will
agree, it's delicious! This month's crostata features
delicious granny smith apples soaked in Italian white
wine and wrapped in a flakey pie dough. It's completely
assembled with no thawing necessary. A simple white wine
and fresh thyme glaze is heated and brushed over the
apples once it's baked. This is perfect for unexpected
guests, and pretty enough to take to a friend's for
dinner. It's beautiful and delicious! This crostata
easily provides 6-8 slices.

Pickled Cranberries ~ $3.00 ($3.25 w/tax)

poultry. We have done all the work, all you have to do is keep these
crunchy delicious cranberries refrigerated, and serve!
Artisanal Ice-Creams ~ $5.00 ($5.42 w/tax)
As you know, we are die-hard foodies. When we tried this ice-cream,
we knew we had found something exceptional that we wanted to share
it with you. Peter, a local guy from Louisville, makes this amazing ice-cream for
restaurants throughout Colorado. He doesn't sell to the public but he agreed
to let us do it. We had to show some restraint and pass on the
Roquefort ice cream (delicious!), but we have lemon chocolate chip,
cupcake, cherry almond, chocolate hazelnut, vanilla bean and caramel
kahlua. Definitely special enough for guests or save it for
yourself!
