Every month, in addition to learning how to prepare dishes from our monthly menu, you will learn how to prepare something amazing, or how to do something in the kitchen in an amazingly simple manner. It's our way of sharing our culinary knowledge with you.

In August, we will show you how to make a wonderful and fast dessert that will leave your family and guests amazed at your culinary abilities. Of course you will get to sample it too!

Cowboy Bean Salad
We are bringing this salad back since it's so wonderful in the warm summer months. This is just an amazing salad with a huge variety of beans (black, garbanzo, black-eyed peas) and veggies (bell peppers, green onions, chiles, optional corn and jalapenos, etc.) And guess what, no cooking required - none whatsoever on your part. Just thaw and serve. And since beans are full of protein, this salad is really filling.

Un-fried Fried Mexican Chicken
Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are marinated in salsa, then coated with seasoned breadcrumbs and baked in the oven. So moist and flavorful! And much healthier than traditional fried chicken.

Wild Salmon Coulibiac ~ NEW! ~ $5 supplement
Also known as Salmon Wellington or Salmon en croute, our version of this dish features four fillets of wild salmon, each topped with basil pesto and then enrobed in puff pastry. Your family will be so impressed! Bakes in the oven from frozen for added convenience.

Zesty Drumsticks
Fine dining it's not, but these chicken drumsticks will have you and your family licking your fingers.  A zesty sauce with a touch of BBQ sauce, honey and garlic, flavor these chicken legs that bake in the oven or cook on the grill.

Grilled Pork Chops with Maple-Cranberry Glaze
These chops start with a dry rub made up of no less than 9 spices. Not hot, just flavorful, the rub is followed by a tart yet sweet tangy glaze of cranberries and real maple syrup for basting and serving on the side. This is one not to be missed. Grill and stovetop.

Yoghurt and Spice Grilled Chicken Skewers
Tender chicken breast pieces get a marinade of tangy yoghurt, paprika, onion, garlic and chili, giving them lots of flavor and a Greek/Moroccan flair. All you have to do is skewer and grill them.

Penne with Tuna and Kalamata Olive Emulsion ~ NEW!
You will feel like you are in Sorrento, Italy when you try this delicious dish showcasing Mediterranean staples such as extra virgin olive oil, capers, kalamata olives, lemons and parsley. The flakey tuna shines in the olive oil emulsion making this dish perfect for nibbling under the sun. Could even be served cold as a filling pasta salad if you want.

Chorizo and Green Chile Quiche
Perfect for brunch, lunch or anytime.  Spicy chorizo sausage, mild green chiles and cheddar in an egg and cream custard cooked inside a deep-dish pie crust. Your choice of real eggs (you crack 'em) or egg substitute for lower cholesterol (we'll assume you are going with real eggs unless you tell us otherwise). Bakes in the oven.

Beef and Broccoli Noodles
Egg noodles, ground beef and broccoli shine on this Asian-inspired dish that your family will love. Perfect for a busy evening, this dish cooks quickly on your stovetop.

Soy Crumbles and Broccoli Noodles
Same as above but with soy crumbles instead of beef, and vegetable stock instead of beef broth.

Parmesan-Crusted Pork Tenderloins
Tender pork tenderloins are encrusted in cumin and parmesan cheese and the result is divine. So simple yet elegant. Bakes in the oven.

Cilantro Turkey Burgers ~ NEW!
For a different and healthier burger, try ground turkey! We make it moist by adding a variety of seasonings, fresh cilantro, chopped onions and a few secret ingredients. These burgers are best cooked on a skillet and served drizzled with green chile yoghurt sauce on a plate (no buns).

New Mexico Strata
Perfect for brunch or a light meal, this dish will surprise you; there's great synergy among the ingredients: eggs, milk, cheese, tortillas, green chiles, corn, mushrooms, peppers, broccoli and seasonings turn into magic in your oven.

Balsamic Flank Steak
A delicious marinade of balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, shallots and a touch of sugar create a meal where not one morsel will be left! The small amount of sugar caramelized while cooking, forming a slight but delicious crust. Adults and kids will enjoy this one! Grill it.

Mixed Berry Cobbler
It's summer -- you either fit into the swimming suit or you don't. Have dessert and just enjoy life! Mixed berries are covered with a streusel topping with optional nuts. So delicious and easy - we even provide the icecream! Bakes in the oven.

The day of the session, please:

  • Bring a cooler with ice packs to transport all your food home. We will provide all the foil containers and Ziploc bags for your food.
  • Plan to go home directly after the session so you can freeze your food ASAP to ensure safety and best quality.
