Dinner by the Dozen was started by Sole Mingo-Ordóñez, a graduate from Cornell University's Hotel School and the Professional Culinary Program at the Culinary School of the Rockies. She has also taken culinary classes at schools in Napa, Paris, Lausanne (Switzerland) and Buenos Aires (Argentina). So, she knows a couple of things about food... However, she married a picky eater and has 2 young kids, so she also knows about the need to cook good everyday food, FAST! Heather Tomasini, our helpful kitchen diva when Sole is traveling around the globe, is also a culinary school graduate. She did her training at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreign Professionals in Italy and brings with her a wealth of energy and culinary know-how. She is studying to become a wine expert and she makes wedding cakes too! We also have the expertise of Itzel Gutierrez de Caccia, a graduate of culinary school in Guadalajara in Mexico and fellow world traveler. One day Sole, Heather and Itzel will start a culinary travel company so we can use all of our knowledge and languages, but in the meantime we are thrilled to be making dinner easier for you. With all this culinary education behind us, we want to share it with you.  So get ready to learn how to feed your family better food in a snap.  With Dinner by the Dozen you prepare twelve delicious family dinners in just two hours -- and have fun while doing it! We do all the planning, shopping and chopping so you just need to assemble the meals and take them home ready to be frozen. To serve the meals all you have to do is thaw the food and follow our simple cooking instructions.
